Mochomos

Mochomos, a renowned Sonoran haute cuisine restaurant chain with a national presence, faced critical challenges in inventory management and operational visibility. Its processes were completely manual: the physical count of beverage bottles and protein cuts was performed weekly, which was time-consuming, generated human error, and made accurate inventory tracking difficult. Furthermore, they lacked FIFO control for perishable products, causing unnecessary waste.

Furthermore, they lacked tools to analyze their operations (sales, customers, products, schedules, etc.) or predict product demand, which limited their ability to make informed and strategic decisions.

The Solution

We developed a comprehensive solution that digitally transformed Mochomos' operations. We created a customized web application to manage product receipts and movements between warehouses using barcodes, eliminating manual work and standardizing processes. We implemented automated ETL processes that connect to their sales system to extract and update inventory in the cloud in real time.

We also designed an interactive Power BI dashboard that centralizes key sales, inventory, and operational information, facilitating strategic analysis. Finally, we incorporated an artificial intelligence model to predict demand, optimizing inventory levels and reducing waste.
